Call Origination for Prepaid Cards

NOVA provides Call Origination Services to International Providers and Carriers for prepaid cards.

Our company has a long-term experience for the provision of toll-free numbers for accessing Pre-Paid Calling Cards.

In Greece, the dedicated non-geographical toll-free numbers for pre-paid calling cards services are of the format 807-XXXX (7-digit) and are accessible by both Fixed and Mobile Greek Telephony Networks. NOVA has already acquired such numbers and upon the contract signature allocates the necessary numbers to the pre-paid card provider for its own exclusive usage

 

Call Origination for geographical and other non-geographical numbers

NOVA provides Call Origination Services to National Service Providers and Operators for geographical and other geographical numbers or/and Short Codes.

Call Origination for Prepaid Cards

NOVA will collect the calls from the other telephony providers in Greece and convey such calls to the pre-paid card provider via a dedicated voice interconnection

The Interconnection can be implemented over:

  • TDM (SS7/C7) via our main Athens PoP
  • SIP (G.711 or G.729) over public internet or private peering

Call Origination for geographical and other non-geographical numbers

The call origination service also supports portability routing as long as the Provider/Operator owns and operates a distinct portability prefix as duly assigned by the Greek Regulaotry Authority (EETT – www.eett.gr) and also has established an interconnection to NRDBP (National Reference Database for Portability – www.nrdbp.gr)

Interconnection can be implemented over:

  • TDM (SS7/C7) via our main Athens PoP
  • SIP (G.711 or G.729)
